Dogs are funny.
There’s a star rising at the shore! Local singer and songwriter Cait Darcy, a Southern Regional High School graduate, enjoyed growing up in the Long Beach Island Region. Going to the beach, hanging out with friends at the Barnegat Lighthouse and spending the day on the boat fishing or crabbing with her family are some of her favorite moments at the shore. Inspired by artists like Miranda Lambert, Alison Krauss and Amy Winehouse, Cait wrote her first real song in 2010, “They Don’t Wear Glasses”. “Music is my therapy and whether I am anxious, sad or just need to refocus, I write music” said Darcy. “No matter what is going on in the world, I can change how I feel through music”.
